This song is about acknowledging your shortcomings and trying to do better moving forward. We all make mistakes. I make a ton. Everyone is a work in progress. I've had times in the past when I've sold music equipment for drug money, or ran into trouble with police. I've been kicked out of a lot of bars and restaurants. But all of that is in the past, and I'm committed to becoming a better person and building a better life for my son and I.
